  1. When do I have to check in for my flight?
North American Airlines recommends that passengers arrive at the ticket counter three (3) hours prior to your scheduled departure time. This will insure ample time for unforeseen events at the airport, compliance with security procedures in effect the day of your travel, and more personal control over individual seat assignments. In the interest of the vast majority of our passengers, North American Airlines does not normally “hold” flights for late arriving passengers.

  2. When do I have to check in for my Leisure Vacation Package?
If you are traveling on North American Airlines as part of a Leisure Vacation Package purchased from one of our travel industry partners, you normally receive airport and check-in information from that specific company well before your travel date. Questions concerning check-in times for your return flight should be addressed by the individual travel company utilizing North American Airlines for the “air” portion of the travel package.

  3. What documents do I need to travel?
For US citizens, a Valid US Passport is required for International travel. Persons born outside of the US should contact their local consulate or embassy before they travel for exact citizenship requirements.

For travel to Accra, a Valid US or Ghanaian Passport is required or Travel Certificates issued by the Ghanaian Consulate in the United States will be accepted for returning passengers to Ghana. One-way tickets must be purchased in the U.S.

  4. Where do I go to check in for my North American Airlines flight to Ghana, Nigeria or Guyana?
North American Airlines scheduled flights to Ghana, Nigeria and Guyana utilize International Air Terminal 4 at JFK international airport, www.jfkiat.com.. Scheduled departure from Baltimore Washington International (BWI) to Nigeria will be at Terminal E.

  5. Where do I go to check in for my Leisure Travel Package?
If traveling on North American Airlines as part of a Leisure Travel Package purchased by one of our company’s travel industry partners, you will receive a package prior to the date of travel providing directions for where and how to check in for your flight.

Flights departing Boston flown on behalf of our travel industry partners check in at the Delta Air Lines ticket counter at Terminal A at Boston Logan Airport, www.massport.com/logan. Charter flights departing JFK also utilize International Air Terminal 4 for departing and arriving flights
